CEO Insomnia StudiosAs CEO of Insomnia Studios Geo Höhn manages the integration of facilities and services. He acts as go between for international customers and all the related heads of departments and teams. He is also a Sound Engineer, Re-Recording Mixer and composer for film and television.
Richard Phillip Wolff
Composer, Sound Engineer, Sound DesignerRichard Phillip Wolff is an composer and sound designer. He is an exceptionally talented musician and he is influenced by modern pop culture as well as more vintage styles of music. His love for live recording and ambient music makes his score truly unique and unconventional.
Morné Marais
Sound Designer, Sound Engineer & ComposerMorné Marais is a very talented and creative Audio Post Production Engineer with more that 10 years of experience. He has worked on a wide range of projects; including Voice Overs, ADR, Foley, Sound Design, Music Composition as well as Final Mix. His first love however remain Sound Design. (He is really incredibly good at it!) He has an outstanding track record and put great value on good work ethics including timeliness, efficiency, innovation and problem solving. He is an excellent team player and an absolute pleasure to work with. His slogan is : “I don’t mix sound, I mix impressions” He runs Sound Surgeon Studios and is well known for “rescuing projects” that no-one else wants to take on.
“Mr. B” - Bonginhlanhla Ncube
Music Supervisor, Music Editor, Award Winning DirectorBonginhlanhla Ncube is a South African based international award-winning producer/director. Mr. B attained his skills under the training of North American film guru, Peter D Marshall (The Butterfly Effect, Happy Gilmore, Dawn of the Dead). Peter has worked for Directors such as; John Woo, Zack Snyder, Phillip Noyce, etc,… Peter has also worked with talent such as Kevin Spacey, Morgan Freeman, John Travolta, Mel Gibson, Ashton Kutcher, Halle Berry, etc,… Mr. B taps into the talent of a highly experienced filmmaker, he completed his second feature film and theatrical release, SAFE BET (2016), an international multi award-winning action comedy flick. SAFE BET accumulated 6 International awards including a special recognition from the California State Assembly.
His previous TV blockbuster, 48, landed him travelling to Hollywood, Los Angeles, where his film was selected for the US premiere screening at the Pan African Film Festival in 2012. It would later on snatch an Award presented by the Honolulu Film Awards in Hawaii, United states. The film 48 received 3 nominations at the 2012 Africa Movie Academy Awards, AMAAs popularly branded as the “Oscars” of Africa.
Bonginhlanhla’s flair for music in film cannot be ignored as he single handedly did music design for 26 episode of the Botswana hit series, COLOURS, which he closely worked with music composer of note, Geo Höhn.

Composer, Session GuitaristArend Erasmus is a composer that specializes in action driven scores. Since a young age he was fascinated with deep and meaningful music. Influenced by Jean Michel Jarre, Hans Zimmer, Classical Music and Heavy Metal, he has the advantage in creating big and dramatic soundscapes. He has produced a variety of orchestral and electronic music for trailers, films and documentaries.
Edward George King
Composer. Sound DesignerEdward George King is a proudly South African fresh and upcoming freelance motion picture composer and sound designer. He attended and achieved a bachelors degree in motion picture at the South African School of Motion Picture & Live Performance (AFDA) in Cape Town, majoring in film scoring and sound design. Since then he has joined the team at Post|City and MasterMax, which specializes in all spheres of film post-production.
Graham Lea-Cox
Orchestrator Musical Director” Graham Lea-Cox is a classically trained, African-born musician with eclectic experience and tastes, from conducting orchestral and operatic repertoires to working with music-theatre, independent popular music and world music. He has conducted and performed widely in America, Europe and Scandinavia, North America, Mexico and Africa, in recordings, radio broadcast and concert, and has worked in the film and television industry in the USA and South Africa.
